SIMPLY SCIENCE VISITS WRC
One of the Twin Cities more popular evening news segments, Simply Science with Sven Sundgaard, stopped by WRC to film a segment on the work we do.
Sven had dropped off an injured pigeon earlier in the week and was interested in learning more about what happens "behind the scenes."

HERON NEWS
A couple years ago a large heronry on the Mississippi River ws destroyed by a tornado. Sadly, only nine chicks were found alive.
All were transported to the WRC where they were raised and then released back into the wild. Their release was a celebration that captured everyone's hearts in the Twin Cities and the first step in a community's healing.
